Our Nurseries

The nurseries are each inspected by Ofsted and although the standards are maintained throughout, each nursery has its own unique identity and facilities.

Little Foxes at Maghull

Fox House Nursery Maghull was established in 1996 and was the first in the chain of Little Foxes Nurseries. It is set in the grounds of nearly an acre of private land and is secluded and secure. The setting, combined with our excellent staff and methods, ensures we offer the highest levels of education, nurturing and development for your child.  Despite the seclusion, the nursery is just a 10 minute walk from all the local amenities, town square, train station and Town Hall.

Our nursery is registered for the special loving care of 15 children per day. Of which, six of the places are for 0-2 year olds and nine of the places are for 3-5 year olds. The nursery is a tranquil haven which offers the children all the activities, educational benefits and the same world of adventure that our larger nurseries provide.

 

 

Little Foxes at Wigan

Little Foxes Wigan at Iona House, was established in 1984 and after many years of growth and development, is now registered for the special loving care of 80 children per day, between the ages of 0-5 years. We are located just three minutes walk from Pemberton train station and are 10 minutes from Pemberton’s shopping area.

The nursery is both big enough to provide our little stars with a good level of interaction and constantly stimulating environment, whilst being small enough for our highly qualified staff to provide 1:1 attention – an important fact in encouraging individuality.

Little Foxes Wigan has two baby rooms, one tiddler room, one toddler rooms and a pre-school room. Every room is equipped with a computer and in the pre-school room, we have three so the children are free to explore and experiment at any time.

We are soon to provide breakfast and after-school clubs for the children from the neighbouring St. Matthews School. The clubs are aimed at parents who have children here at Little Foxes and have siblings that require the service. This enables a smooth transition for children moving on from nursery to school. The children are also happy to come back to Little Foxes for the clubs as they regard the nursery as a home-from-home.

 

 

Little Foxes at Garston

Little Foxes at Garston was established in 1999 and is an architecturally designed private pre-school nursery. We cater for sixty children between the ages of 0-5 years old. We are conveniently located for Liverpool South Railway Station, bus routes and the local amenities of Liverpool Airport, New Mersey Retail Park and the city centre. The nursery provides a modern and bright environment with rooms stimulating fun and interest for each group. There are varied play facilities, from ‘messy play’ with water, sand and play dough etc., to structural activities such as art, dance and drama.

On the first floor, the children aged 3-4 are busy preparing for their move to primary school, whilst on the ground floor, out Toddler Rooms for 2-3 year olds are encouraging independence and development through play. The babies are cared for in their own beautiful, bright nursery in the grounds where love and cuddles are the priority. Whichever area of the nursery you visit, a warm, family atmosphere is evident.
